Comprehensive medical equipment planning involves the services provided to validate the as-designed equipment plans are consistent with the current infrastructure plans and the equipment is supported with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing support prior to provisioning.  It involves the pre-planning equipment inventory and verification for possible reuse equipment with the CatalogIT program, supports the end-user group validation meetings, development of the Validated Equipment Listing (VEL), Room x Room drawings layout, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budget, and Current Working Estimate (CWE) for equipment budgeting within the proprietary EquipWare database.  These activities lead to equipment sourcing and procurement, and eventually delivery, installation, and certification in the renovated or new healthcare spaces.
